VAHIDE AKTUG ILKÖGRETIM OKULU (primary and secondary school)
Vahide Aktuğ is a public,secular school giving both primary and secondary level education locates in the city of Bursa in Turkey.Consruction was completed on the 15th of September 2003 and education started the same day. Facility has 3825 m2 closed and 7142 m2 total area.
In facility there exist 24 classes , 2 pre-primary classes , a multi purpose hall ,a library , a computer room , a science and a language laboratory , a gymnasium and a canteen .
Our vision is to generate individuals that will have high intension to contribute buiding a new era.
Our mission is to improve interests and skills of students and prepare them for upper education level. Enhance awareness of human rights , children rights , individual rights. Encourage children to be individuals who have social responsibilities in community. Have children understand and respect national and international cultures. Encourage children to improve their versatility.
Encourage children to be self confident , to have systematic approach to solve problems and to be effective users of technology. Enhance awareness and let them be eco friendly individuals who respect and protect the nature.
We have very successful results in “ high school entrance exams”which are organized by The Ministry of Education every year.
We enrich the curriculum carrying out different projects : Social awareness projects “ visiting homes of old people and orphanages , spending time with them.” Organizing “blood donation campaigns” for parents and teachers every year . Project of organizing some national art activities “art of Ebru ;painting pictures in water”.Projects of reading skills , writing poem and composition skills. Science and Math projects.
In the academic year 2012 -2013 we participated in the project of ‘Voices’.Due to our participation in this project , we have opportunity to share and learn experiences about education with European teachers.
