Come2Graz – International Week 2015 “21st Century Skills: Planning for an uncertain future” (05.05.2015)

The University College of Teacher Education Styria will host the 14th Come2Graz- International Week from May4th to May 8th 2015. On Tuesday, May 5th the international week will officially be opened by keynote speaker Professor Jon White. He is Senior Lecturer in BA Early Childhood and Education Studies at the University of Derby, UK and member of the VoiceS network. Jon White will talk about 21st century skills: “Drawing on both academic literature and practical experience, a case will be made for the value of soft skills as being essential for success.”

The publication "Interactive E-Books" contains actual information about e-books on university level and focuses on technological and pedagogical aspects.  One chapter of this book describes the use of an e-book in the VoiceS in-service course in Graz.

The in-service course “Integrated competences for European Teachers: digital applications and environments: giving voice(s) to identity and diversity in school collaboration”, held in Braga between April 8th and 12th was an opportunity for teachers from Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Swiss, Turkey and U.K. to discuss the European teacher model, think about identity and diversity and plan collaborative projects, to be developed in their schools.
