VoiceS Newsletter Issue 2

Here we bring the second VoiceS newsletter to you. The newsletter forms the bridge between the teachers, teacher trainees and teacher trainers for promoting activities of this network. In this issue you can find information about some schools members of the network, reports of the in-service courses in Barcelona and in Graz and a special invitation from Professor Jon White to the Conference at the University of Derby. 2nd Austrian National Group Meeting

The 2nd Austrian National Group meeting will take place on Wednesday, 26.03.2014 at the University College of Teacher Education (room A01120, 18:00 to 193:0 pm) in Graz. VoiceS and its possibilities and chances for members of the Austrian National group will be introduced and discussed by the project coordinator Henny Oude Maatman of Saxion University, Netherlands. Maria Pichlbauer, local school authority, will introduce “School partnerships granted by the EU”. Teachers and students from Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary will join the meeting.

VoiceS Schools Sharing Projects

A group of VoiceS primary schools are involved in a common work through small projects that are developed and shared by pupils in different countries. The projects are addressed to introduce concepts as identity and diversity while using English as a communication language. The schools are placed in Spain, Austria, Czeck Republic, Portugal and France and they are using communication technologies in their common work.
