VoiceS - The development of soft skills and professional competences for European teachers (new e-book)

From 25.02.2015 to 29.02.2015 the Palacký University in Olomouc hosted the VoiceS In-service Course "VoiceS - The development of soft skills and professional compete". European school teachers, and teacher trainers from nine different countries participated in this course, all of them members of the VoiceS network (Reference: 526613-LLP-2012-NL-Comenius-CNW).
The main idea of the activities in this course were Omnes omnia omnino by J. A. Comenius (Jan Amos Komenský), consequently enabling comprehensive education to all children without any discrimination.
The course was divided into three parts: introductory online activities, personal meetings within the course and the development of international projects.
Theoretical introduction will focus on the following topics:
The concept of identity in the education of children of primary school age
- Explanation of concepts, work with the concept of identity
- Demonstration of their own identity
- Communication about identity
- National identity
Teachers, organised in international groups, carry out projects in their own schools; these projects are shared, analysed and described including visual evidence. A selection of them is published in this ebook, additionally uploaded to the webpage of European Teachers and published as paperback as well.
