In-Service Courses

Does it exist a “European Teacher”? What specific competences make a teacher to be a “European Teacher”? She or he should be aware of their belonging to the European space, being able to teach beyond the national curriculum and to work in multicultural groups, to go in deep in concepts as identity, diversity and citizenship and to have wide knowledge on other European education systems and educational policies.

VOICES in-service courses are an intensive staff-development programmes addressed to help teachers to establish suitable skills and capabilities to develop their task at European level, to deepen knowledge and to reflect on their own practice at the light of the EU Key Competences in educational objectives. At the same time, they offer technical and practical know-how about international projects development and ICT tools for school networking.

The courses are an excellent platform to exchange ideas and learn from each other, while benefiting from the participation of a diverse group of experienced teacher trainers from different European countries.
